8 ковалентная связь
Химическая связь между атомами в молекуле. Связывание осуществляется путём обобществления электронов, принадлежавших одному или нескольким атомам. Ковалентная связь очень сильная. Чтобы такая большая энергия не растрачивалась впустую, любой биохимический процесс организован так, что разрыв какой-либо ковалентной связи неизменно энергетически сопряжён с образованием другой ковалентной связи.
